Service Description

Our system lies adjacent to the footing and foundation wall. First, our geotextile fabric filter is placed at the bottom of the trench. This filter prevents dirt, grit, sand, and silt from entering the draintile system. Next the tile, which is made out of 4" PVC pipe, with 2 rows of 1/2" drain holes at the bottom, allows water to enter and pass through to the city storm sewer or sump pump. The filter is then wrapped around the pipe, with 2-3 inches of 9A stone between the pipe and filter. This large gravel also helps keep unwanted debris from entering into the system. Next, gravel is placed on top of the entire system, covered with a sheet of thermos layer. We then recement your floor with 6 bags mix of concrete, flush and even with your existing. In addition, our draintiles are accessible by cleanouts that are located at the bleeders.
